A beautifully toned tetradrachm from Smyrna

IONIA. Smyrna. Circa 155-145 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 36 mm, 16.82 g, 12 h), Menekrates (?), magistrate. Turreted head of the city-goddess to right. Rev. 𐤆MYP/NAIΩN above the monogram of Menekrates (?); all within oak wreath. BMC 4. Milne, Autonomous, 141. A beautifully toned example struck on an exceptionally broad and attractive oval flan. About extremely fine.
